Fish n Pasta Jogja Review

Ketemu lagi dengan saya yang selalu doyan makan sehingga diet pun cuma wacana. Kali ini mau sharing sedikit nih tentang Fish n Pasta Jogja.

PLACE

Restoran ini berlokasi di Jalan Colombo No. 105B, Caturtunggal, Depok, tepatnya di seberang Gor UNY, Jogja.

Tempatnya nyaman. Terdiri dari dua lantai, atas smoking room dan bawah ber-ac (tapi ngga dingin sih menurutku wkwkwk). Dengan dekorasi warna dominan kuning, tempat ini direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu tempat cozy,yang selain enak untuk makan, untuk nongkrong pun oke, dan tentunya dengan menu western food yang cukup terjangkau. Dear millenials, tempat ini berwifi juga ya.

MENU

Visitasi terakhirku ke tempat ini sekitar bulan Maret 2019. Aku mencoba  menu Fish n Chips, sementara temanku memilih Asian Style Fettuccine Crispy Dori.

Untuk jenis makanan yang tersedia di tempat ini didominasi oleh pasta yang disajikan dengan berbagai jenis saus. Ada creamy sauce, Bolognese, cheese sauce, dan masih banyak lagi. Bahkan di sini ada saus padang dan rica-rica juga lho! Untuk menu ikan ada yang disajikan dengan pasta dan ada yang terpisah.  Ada juga nasi dengan aneka seafood sebangsa udang, kerang, dsb.

Range harga makanan setahu saya nih, mulai dari 20.000 sampai 45.000 rupiah. Dibanner depan restorannya ada tulisan menu seharga 15.000, tapi sepertinya saya kelewatan pas baca menunya jadi merasa dimenu kok gak ada ya…….

Range harga minuman 3000 rupiah untuk es teh sampai yang paling mahal juga ada, tapi saya lupa harganya hahahaha. Kalo gak salah sekitar 20.000an (pls correct me if I’m wrong). 

Eits! Tapi nih, disediakan juga free drink berupa air putih dingin yg sepertinya sudah diinfused dengan daun-daunan tertentu dan teh dingin! >,< (ramah anak kos juga ternyata. Terharu deh :”)

Untuk makanan yang kubeli, fish n chips seharga 31.000, dan Asian Style Fettuccine Crispy Dori seharga 35.000. Yang menarik dari tempat ini adalah menu yang tersaji sama dengan menu yang ada di gambar! Keren gak tuh? wkwkwk.

Note: Kalau kalian bawa KTM, diskon 10% per menu loh! :D

TASTE

Dari segi rasa cukup enak dan menyenangkan untuk lidah anak kos :”)

Tapi buat yang sudah terbiasa makan makanan western aku ada beberapa cerita. Untuk menu Asian Style Fettuccine Crispy Dori yang kebetulan berupa pasta disajikan dengan ikan dori, ikan dorinya enak banget! Cocoklah. Dari segi kematangan, rasa, dan tepungnya yang lumayan crunchy membalut ikannya dengan sempurna. Sudah oke. Tapi saat kami ke sana kemarin, pastanya kurang matang. Sayang sekali :”) Padahal rasa sausnya enak.

Untuk fish n chips, chipsnya juara. Enak deh pokoknya. Tekstur dan kematangan kentangnya sudah cukup oke. Aku pecinta kentang yang lembut dan waktu kentangnya kamu kunyah, sama sekali ngga ada keras”nya dan memanjakan lidahmu banget dengan tekstur lembut kentang  yang beradu dengan gigi dan lidahmu sementara hint rasa asin-gurih muncul ditengah-tengahnya. Enyaaakk!

Tapi untuk ikannya, sebenarnya sudah enak untuk bagian” pinggir karena matang sempurna. Tapi kurasa bagian tengah ikan akan lebih sempurna kalau digoreng beberapa detik lebih lama. Pas kumakan tadi ada sedikit hint rasa khas ikan (red: amis). Tapi cuma sedikit, dan itupun tertutupi oleh rasa saus yang disertakan bersama ikan dan kentang yang enak ini. Mungkin ketidak beruntunganku aja pas datang ke sana hahaha. Btw, fish n chips ini disajikan dengan dua jenis saus. Saus pertama berwarna putih yang kekentalannya mirip heavy cream yang dicampur susu cair. Saus ini hadir dengan rasa creamy yang tidak heavy, gurih, tetapi tidak asin. Tidak pedas juga. Saus kedua warnanya seperti saus thousand island dengan rasa pedas yang cukup menggigit.

Overall, mungkin untuk fish and chips aku akan kasih poin 7,8 untuk kentangnya yang juara, sausnya yang standar, dan ikannya yang masih terbilang oke.

The Best Churros In Jogjakarta?

Bagi temen-temen yang doyan ngemil pasti udah ngga asing dengan churros ya. Jadi menurut dear-gugel-mahatau, churros adalah fried-doughnut pastry yang berasal dari Spanyol dan Portugal. Secara umum, penampakannya gini nih guys:

Bagi yang lagi main di daerah Jogja atau mungkin tinggal di sekitar wilayah Jogja dan lagi nyari cemilan churros yang cucok dilidah, aku ada salah satu referensi tempat kalian beli churros. Namanya I'M CHURRO. Letak I'M CHURRO sendiri berada di LG Hartono Mall, di dekat ATM Center (satu lantai yang sama dengan Informa dan Hyoermart). Bulan Februari ini baru buka nih, jadi masih cukup baru. Hartono Mall sendiri baru beroperasi mulai pukul 10.00. Jadi jangan datang kepagian ya :D

Berlandaskan keinginan buat ngemil setelah sekian lama, akhirnya aku mencoba beli churros ini pas Grand Opening mereka. Penampakan dari churros mereka begini nih gaes:

Menarik? Yaaa! Wkwkwk. Kebetulan aku beli yang klasik, yang dipotong panjang-panjang sekitar 15-20 cm (lebih panjang dari penggarisku!). Sebenarnya ada juga varian churro bites yang churronya dipotong kecil-kecil jadi pas untuk sekali masuk mulut. Tapi kali ini, aku pengin nyobain varian Original Caramel dengan ukuran medium, yang churronya panjang-panjang tentunya. Harga untuk yang satu ini Rp. 25.000. Untuk range harga yang ditawarkan sekitar 20.000 - 40.000 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Agak diatas rata-rata harganya, tapi rasanya bisa bikin kalian jatuh cinta. Unch! >.<

Seperti yang terlihat difoto penampakan, churros yang super panjang itu dikemas dalam pyramid-shaped karton yang pastinya cukup ramah lingkungan. Tapi kalau kalian mau plastik, mereka juga menyediakan kok. Untuk sausnya, dikemas dalam tempat kecil seperti ini:

Churros ini ditaburi dengan bubuk kayu manis sehingga kombinasi rasa manis dari adonan churros dengan rasa unik yang hangat dari kayu manis menyatu sempurna dan memanjakan lidah kalian :D

Churronya sendiri sangat crispy dibagian luar, bahkan kerenyahannya masih bertahan meskipun churronya mendingin.

Untuk varian karamel yang kucoba, saus karamelnya tidak begitu kental dan menurutku pribadi cukup oke. Manis tapi tidak over-sweet. Saus karamelnya berhasil menepatkan diri sebagai teman cocolan si churro yang pas!

MY OWN EXPERIENCE :(

Sebenarnya aku ada pengalaman sedikit mengecewakan dengan I'M CHURROS ini. SIngkat cerita, aku datang ke sana sekitar pukul 10.00 dan mereka belum menyiapkan adonannya. Masih harus menunggu satu jam sampai pesananku jadi :(

Padahal lebih asik kalau udah siap sejak pagiya hehehe. Kita juga sebaiknya tidak datang terlalu pagi. Tapi overall, rasa churrosnya bisa mengalahkan rasa kecewaku dong. Sukaaakkk *love*
